The Digital Support Hub

Book Your DIgital Training

From feeling nervous about technology to feeling confident

Is it time for you to get digital?

Feeling like everyone else speaks a digital language you don't understand?

Fed up with asking your kids or grandkids for help with everything?

Worried you'll press the wrong button and break something expensive?

You're definitely not alone. Most people aren't "bad with computers" - they've just never had someone take the time to explain things properly, without all the jargon and assumptions that you already know what they're talking about.

The Digital Support Hub is my 8-week course designed specifically for people who want to feel confident with technology, not overwhelmed by it. No pressure, no silly questions, just patient guidance at your own pace.

Louise Smith - The Digital Support Hub

Where this all started

The idea for The Digital Support Hub came from my late grandmother, who, at the grand young age of 95, was one of the oldest members of her local war widows' society. She absolutely loved keeping up to date with what was happening in the world, always had the morning news on, read the local paper cover to cover, and was genuinely curious about everything.

When the War Widows Society gave her an iPad as a gift, she was absolutely ecstatic. Here was a fantastic device that could show her news from around the world, let her make video calls to family, and explore anything she was curious about. But like so many people her age, she had no idea how to use it.

That's when the idea sparked. Here was someone with a brilliant mind, eager to learn, but no one had the patience to teach her properly. Everyone assumed she'd "never get it" because of her age, or they'd rush through explanations, assuming she understood tech jargon.

I realised there were thousands of people just like my grandmother; intelligent, curious, wanting to stay connected with the world, but needing someone to take the time to explain technology properly, with patience and without judgment.

The Digital Support Hub is for everyone who has that same curiosity and determination my grandmother had, but needs the right teacher.
